Stock Market Closing On 2nd December 2022: After eight days of continuous growth, the speed of the Indian stock market has come to a halt today. Profit booking was seen in the Indian stock market on the last trading day of the week. Due to which the index of Mumbai Stock Exchange has fallen below 63000 and closed at 62,868 points with a fall of 415 points. At the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 19,042 points with a decline of 94 points.

Today, there was a decline in the shares of all the leading sectors in the market. Sector shares like Banking, Auto, IT, Pharma, FMCG, Energy closed down. Only the shares of metals, real estate and media sectors have seen a boom. Mid-cap and small-cap stocks also closed at a brisk pace. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 18 stocks closed with gains while 32 stocks closed with losses. So out of 30 Sensex stocks, 10 stocks closed with gains and 20 closed with losses. The Midcap Index closed with a gain of 0.80 per cent and the Small Cap Index with a gain of 0.70 per cent.

If you look at the stocks that gained momentum, Dr Reddy 1.18 per cent, Tata Steel 1.13 per cent, Tech Mahindra 1.11 per cent, IndusInd Bank 0.56 per cent, HCL Tech 0.35 per cent, Bharti Airtel 0.29 per cent, Axis Bank 0.25 per cent, Bajaj Finserv 0.18 per cent, NTPC It closed with a gain of 0.06 per cent.

If you look at the stocks that booked profits, Mahindra & Mahindra 2.08 per cent, HUL 1.59 per cent, Nestle 1.52 per cent, Maruti Suzuki 1.52 per cent, HDFC 1.38 per cent, Asian Paints 1.29 per cent, Bajaj Finance 1.13 per cent, Power Grid 1.08 per cent, Sun Pharma 1.07 per cent and ICICI Bank closed down by 1.07 per cent.
