Sanju Samson scored an explosive century, many records were broken in Johannesburg

Sanju Samson IND vs SA Johannesburg: Sanju Samson performed explosively in Johannesburg and scored a century in the fourth match of the T20 series against South Africa. Samson created a dilemma for the South African bowlers during this innings. On the strength of Sanju’s century, India crossed the 200-run mark in just 15 overs. Along with him, Tilak Verma also worsened the condition of the bowlers. This was the third century of Samson’s T20 International career.

Samson also scored a century in the first match of the T20 series against South Africa. He has scored his second century in this series. Samson has completed his century in 51 balls. During this period he hit 8 sixes and 6 fours. He played a strong partnership with Tilak Verma for Team India. India had scored 251 runs in 18 overs.

Samson faced 56 balls and scored unbeaten 109 runs. Along with Samson, Tilak also scored a century. He scored an unbeaten 120 runs. Team India scored 283 runs in 20 overs.

Sanju equaled Rohit’s record –

Samson has equaled a special record of Rohit Sharma. He has equaled Rohit in terms of hitting the maximum number of 8 or more sixes in T20 International matches. Rohit has done this feat thrice. Sanju has also shown this feat in Johannesburg. Suryakumar Yadav is at second place in this list. He has hit 2 sixes.

Samson broke the record of Rahul-Ishaan –

Samson has broken the records of KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan. Samson has become the wicketkeeper batsman for India who has scored the most half centuries in T20 International. He has scored 4 half-centuries. Whereas Ishaan and Rahul have scored 3-3 half-centuries.
