Russia will hand over the third consignment of Air Defense Missile System to India in preparation to deal with China on New Year


S-400 Air Defense Missile System: Despite the war with Ukraine, Russia is ready to help India. Russia will give the third batch of S-400 air defense missile system to India in January-February next year. India had signed a deal to buy five squadrons of S-400 air defense missiles from Russia in a deal worth over Rs 35,000 crore. In which so far only two consignments have been found. According to defense sources, India will get the third consignment from Russia in the beginning of next year.

Defense sources have told ANI that a team from India, including Air Force officials, had reached Russia for the part related to the missile. The third squadron of the missile system is planned to be supplied early next year within January-February. It is noteworthy that in December last year, the army had deployed the first batch of missile defense system received from Russia in the Punjab sector.

Worldwide fear of Russian air defense system

There is a worldwide fear of this Russian air defense system included in India’s camp. This is a type of air defense missile system, which can shoot down enemy aircraft in the sky itself. Explain that this deal of S-400 missile system between India and Russia is worth more than Rs 35,000 crore. Under this deal, India has to get five squadrons of defense missiles from Russia in three years. Out of which two consignments have already reached India.
