Ruckus on bringing goat in society for sacrifice, read Hanuman Chalisa, raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram

Mumbai Bakrid Festival Controversy: Two days before Bakrid, there was a ruckus in a Mumbai society as soon as a goat arrived. The ruckus increased so much that even the police had to be called there. There is a tradition of sacrifice on the occasion of Bakrid, due to which goat was brought in the society.

A family living in a society on Mira Road in Mumbai had brought a goat for the sacrifice. After the goat entered the society, the people of other communities living there started creating a ruckus. The matter didn’t just stop till the ruckus, but the people of Hinduist organization Bajrang Dal also reached there.

The family filed a complaint
The Muslim family has also given a complaint to the police for not allowing their festival to be celebrated peacefully. Yasmin, a female member of his family, has filed a complaint against the people of the society at the Kashimira police station under sections 143, 147, 149, 354, 323, 341, 504, 506 of the IPC.

The people of the organization recited Hanuman Chalisa there and then raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police administration pacified the people creating ruckus. After the police explained, the ruckus calmed down and both the goats were taken outside the society. Citing the rules, the police assured the slogan-shouting people that sacrifice cannot be done inside the society. After this matter of uproar, there should not be any untoward incident in the society, because of this the police administration has also deployed heavy police force there.

What is the tradition of sacrifice on Bakrid
It is believed that people of Islam religion sacrifice on the day of Bakrid. It is said that Hazrat Ibrahim was very close to Allah. After the order of Allah, he got ready for the sacrifice of his son. For which he tied a blindfold on the eyes at the time of the son’s sacrifice. However, when he removed the blindfold, his son was alive and a lamb was sacrificed in his place. Since then, there is a tradition of sacrificing goats and other animals on the occasion of Bakrid.
