Priyank Kharge on BJP: Karnataka government minister Priyank Kharge on Saturday (April 6) claimed that according to an internal survey of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will not be able to win even 200 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Priyank Kharge accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of lying regarding the statement related to the delay by the state government in submitting the proposal to the Center seeking drought relief.
‘BJP will not get even 200 seats in RSS survey’
The Congress leader said that Home Minister Amit Shah should have been the Minister of Misinformation. He claimed, “According to the internal survey of RSS, the party (BJP) will not get even 200 seats this time. The union is saying this. They will not be able to cross even the eight seat mark in the state. How will they win when there is internal fighting on 14-15 seats (in BJP)?
Priyank Kharge said, “Some BJP leaders are saying that they are polluted because of one family in the state. They are saying that they want to restore the original form of BJP. Are we (Congress) saying this? No, they (BJP leaders) are saying so. They are also claiming that injustice is being done to Hindutva leaders like Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, CT Ravi, Ananth Kumar Hegde, Eshwarappa in BJP. They are fighting among themselves, and Congress has not created this situation.

He said, “Is the Chief Minister’s meeting with the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister and Finance Minister (demanding relief) a lie? Is it a lie for IMCT to come here and conduct survey and submit report? Is it a lie to then hold a meeting on behalf of the National Disaster Management Authority and praise Karnataka’s drought management efforts in writing? What is this, Home Minister Amit Shah Why are you lying so much?
