Rishabh Pant Emotional On Test Comeback: Rishabh Pant made a great comeback in Test cricket. Playing his first Test after almost two years, Pant scored a century. The Test played against Bangladesh in Chennai was very special for Pant. Earlier, the wicketkeeper-batsman played the last Test for Team India in December 2022. Now the BCCI shared a video through social media, in which Pant was seen getting emotional about his comeback.
Let us tell you that on December 30, 2022, Pant was seriously injured in a car accident. After this accident, Pant returned to the cricket field through IPL 2024. Then he returned to T20 cricket for India from the 2024 T20 World Cup. After this, he returned to ODIs against Sri Lanka and now Test cricket against Bangladesh. Pant scored a century as soon as he returned to Test cricket. Batting in the second innings of the Test played against Bangladesh in Chennai, Pant scored 109 runs in 128 balls with the help of 13 fours and 4 sixes.
Pant appeared emotional about this special comeback. In a video shared by BCCI, Pant said about his comeback, “I was very nervous, but there was some fire inside me that I wanted to do this. Finally I did it. I am happy but I am not thinking much about it. Still I am happy.”
Further, Pant said about his partnership with Shubman Gill, “I have learned one thing over time that if you have a good relationship off the field, then it helps a lot in batting with that person. When you share a good bond outside, you understand how the other person is thinking, how the game is going. We were having a fun conversation. We were talking about the game.” Watch the video here…
