Rajasthan News: Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has got a big relief from the High Court. The Rajasthan High Court has given a clean chit to Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in the Sanjeevani Credit Co-operative case. He had filed a petition demanding the cancellation of the FIR as well as the investigation. On September 17, 2024, a bench of Justice Arun Monga passed the final order in the case and directed the SOG to file a reply.
The court asked whether the Special Operation Group intends to file a chargesheet against Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. A detailed report was filed by the SOG in the case. The report said that there is no evidence against Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. In such a situation, the court passed an order saying that on the detailed report of the SOG, no case is made out against the petitioner Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

Advocate Aditya Vikram Singh informed that the court made it clear that SOG cannot conduct further investigation against Shekhawat without taking permission from the trial court. According to the previous audit report, a scam was committed by selling a share of Rs 50 for Rs 500. Whereas there is a difference between the actual value and face value of any share. The new report stated that a share of Rs 300 was sold for Rs 500 and its fixed value was absolutely correct.
Before the Sanjivani scam came to light, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat had retired from the post of director of the company in 2014. The facts came to light in the report presented by SOG today. In such a situation, there is no case against the petitioner. On the basis of the SOG report, the court disposed off Gajendra Singh Shekhawat’s petition.
