RCB announced retention list for IPL 2025, expressed confidence in only three players

IPL 2025 Retention List Of RCB: Royal Challengers Bangalore announced the retention list for IPL 2025. The franchise decided to retain only three players, which include the names of Virat Kohli, batsman Rajat Patidar and fast bowler Yash Dayal. Bengaluru retained all three Indian players.

A question arose from the retention list of RCB that now who will be made the captain in 2025. The team released Faf du Plessis, who had been captaining for the last few seasons. The news had also come out that Virat Kohli will once again be seen as the captain in IPL 2025. However, the franchise did not give any update regarding the captaincy. Either the team will buy a new captain in the auction or Virat Kohli will be made the captain again.

RCB spent 37 crores in retention

RCB spent Rs 37 crore to retain three players. The team retained Virat Kohli the most for Rs 21 crore. Apart from this, Rajat Patidar was retained for Rs 11 crore and Yash Dayal for Rs 5 crore.

83 crores left in purse

Now Bengaluru is left with Rs 83 crore in its purse for the mega auction to be held for IPL 2025. Let us tell you that the teams have received a purse value of Rs 120 crore for IPL 2025. Now it will be interesting to see whom RCB buys for Rs 83 crore.

Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Anuj Rawat, Suyyash Prabhudesai, Will Jacques, Mahipal Lomror, Karn Sharma, Manoj Bhandage, Mayank Dagar, Vijaykumar Vishak, Akash Deep, Mohammed Siraj, Reece Topley, Himanshu Sharma, Rajan Kumar, Cameron Green, Alzarri. Joseph, Tom Curran, Lockie Ferguson, Swapnil Singh, Saurav Chauhan.
