Rajasthan By Election 2024: Voting will be held for seven assembly seats of Rajasthan on November 13, for which 69 candidates are in the fray in 7 assembly constituencies. Among these, there are 10 female and 59 male candidates. On Wednesday, the last day of withdrawal of nominations, 10 candidates have withdrawn their nomination papers while 5 candidates had withdrawn their names earlier.
Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan said that till October 25, the last date of nomination for the by-elections in 7 assembly constituencies, a total of 94 candidates had submitted nomination papers. During the scrutiny of nomination papers on Monday 28th October, nomination papers of 10 candidates were rejected. In this sequence, after the period for withdrawal of nomination papers passed on Wednesday, a total of 69 candidates are now in the fray.
Here are the highest and lowest candidates
Chief Electoral Officer Mahajan said that the maximum number of 12 candidates each are in the fray in Dausa and Khinvsar assembly constituencies and the least number of 6 candidates are in the fray in Salumber. Similarly, 11 candidates are in the fray in Jhunjhunu assembly constituency, 10 each in Ramgarh and Chaurasi and 8 candidates in Deoli-Uniara. Now the election campaign is going to increase here.
Triangular contest on these seats
Jhunjhunu assembly seat where Congress has dominance. At the same time, this time apart from Congress and BJP, many other leaders have joined in. Naresh Meena has put all his strength on Deoli Uniyara. Congress is winning this seat twice. At the same time, there is a triangular atmosphere in Khinvsar assembly seat. There is a triangular atmosphere between Congress, BJP and RLP. There is a similar situation in the Chaurasi assembly seat. The matter is triangular between Congress, BJP and BAP. There is a triangular atmosphere in Salumber seat also.
