Opposition Meeting New Date: The new date for the meeting of the opposition parties has been announced. This meeting to be held in Patna, Bihar on June 12 was postponed. JDU chief Lalan Singh said on Wednesday (June 7) that this meeting of the opposition will now be held in Patna on June 23. All the opposition parties have agreed on this. This meeting will prove to be a milestone for 2024 and the country will be BJP free.

Lalan Singh told that earlier a meeting of opposition parties was fixed in Patna on June 12, but many chief ministers had programs in their respective states, so the meeting was postponed. He further said that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and party leader Rahul Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Uddhav Thackeray, NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, CPI general secretaries D Raja, Sitaram Yechury and Dipankar Bhattacharya will attend the meeting.

Positive result will come from the meeting of opposition parties

Regarding this meeting, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav said that in view of the situation in the country, an important meeting is going to be held in Patna on June 23. A positive result will come after this meeting. We, including Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar, also want the opposition to unite. In this meeting, heads of all parties, CM will be present. Let us tell you that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is trying to bring together all the opposition parties before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He has met many leaders regarding this.

What did Sharad Pawar say on opposition unity?

Meanwhile, NCP chief Sharad Pawar said on Tuesday that if the opposition comes up with a credible alternative before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, people can consider it. He said that my concern is whether people will have the same approach for the Lok Sabha elections as they have for the assembly elections. If the opposition unites and presents a credible alternative, then people can consider it. If the opposition does not act sensibly, it cannot expect people to think of a different option.
