New Delhi: ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ maintained its remarkable run at the box office despite a significant drop on its 29th day of release. Domestic profits for the Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil film fell 61% from the previous day, reaching about Rs 5 crore nett on Thursday, January 2. The film maintained its dominance in theaters throughout the country, beating Varun Dhawan’s ‘Baby. John’.
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ Box Office Collection Day 29
Directed by Sukumar, ‘Pushpa 2’ has been one of the most successful films in Indian cinema over the previous month, shattering multiple records in the process. Day 29 brings the total earnings for the film to 1,189.85 crore nett in India. The fourth week brought in an amazing Rs 69.75 crore. Of this total, the Hindi version brought in Rs 53.75 crore nett, while the Telugu and Tamil versions each contributed Rs 13.59 crore and 2.15 crore, respectively.
According to statistics from monitoring website Sacnilk, the sequel, which was released in cinemas on December 5, had a little increase on January 1, but a substantial decrease the following day. Meanwhile, the film has maintained its audience’s attention throughout the week, so there’s hope for a comeback this coming weekend.

Among the remarkable technical team members of the film are editor Naveen Nooli, cinematographer Mirosław Kuba Brozek, and soundtrack composer Devi Sri Prasad. One of the most costly Indian films of all time, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ had an incredible budget of Rs 400-500 crore. It also happens to be one of the longest Indian films of all time, clocking in at 200 minutes. Apart from Allu Arjun, the film features Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rao Ramesh and Jagapathi Babu.
The film’s enduring popularity and steady box office returns prove its global and multilingual appeal, even if it has recently seen a decline in ticket sales.
