According to the information, Chandigarh DSP Dilsher Singh Chandel has filed a criminal defamation petition against Sidhu in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate. “Sidhu has failed to tender an unconditional apology for his remarks against the police during a rally in 2021,” the DSP said.
