This is an organization of women football players of France who are unable to play matches amid the controversy over the hijab. In November 2021, this organization legally challenged the ban of the French Football Federation. The organization says that this ban creates discrimination. Muslim women players in France believe that such a ban interferes with their right to practice their religion.

According to the information, Le Hijabus, an organization of women’s football players, wanted to express its protest through a demonstration in front of the French Parliament in support of their demands on 9 February. But the protest was not allowed by the administration due to security reasons. Presidential elections are to be held in France a few months later this year. In such a situation, there is a lot of controversy regarding women players wearing hijab. Muslim women players say that it is better if their rights are not interfered with.
