He also said that he will contest from Satara Lok Sabha seat only when the party gives permission for it and will contest the election in the name and election symbol of Congress (hand). In Maharashtra, state president of NCP, a party of Sharad Pawar faction, Jayant Patil had held election discussions with Prithviraj Chavan on Sunday. It is being said that there was also a discussion between the two regarding Satara Lok Sabha seat.
