CM Yogi on Mahakumbh 2025: Mahakumbh is going to start soon in Prayag, the place of Tirtharaj and Triveni Sangam. Now only a few days are left for its start and preparations are being finalized. In the harsh cold, a gathering of sages, saints and mahatmas from different corners of the country and the world is taking place in Prayagraj. The government of Uttar Pradesh and Prayagraj district administration are busy in preparations to give a very grand and divine look to this Mahakumbh. Meanwhile, in Aaj Tak’s Dharmasansad program organized at the media center of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath discussed in detail about the grand preparations for Mahakumbh.
It is my good fortune to serve the saints and devotees: Chief Minister
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in the Dharma Sansad, “It is a privilege for me to serve the saints and devotees coming from all over the country and the world as the Chief Minister of UP on the occasion of Mahakumbh.” He said, “One year ago, Shri Ram Lalla was seated in Ayodhya after ending the wait of 500 years and the Maha Kumbh being held at such an auspicious time after 144 years, it is God’s grace.”
On sending the invitation through ministers, the CM said, “Along with some states of the North-East, people from the states of South India were also not able to come. The picture of one India, the best India will be seen in Mahakumbh. There is going to be presence of saints and devotees from everywhere in Prayagraj.
CM said about Mauritius PM’s Kumbh Yatra
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Said, “The world’s third largest population will take a dip in Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj in the next 45 days.” Attacking the opposition, the CM said, “We never said that BJP has linked Kumbh to the event. Who stopped you from taking this faith to new heights? Before 2017, this event was synonymous with filth and chaos.”
He said, “What was the situation in the Mahakumbh of 2013? The Prime Minister of Mauritius had come to take a bath in the Ganga and after seeing the dirt and chaos here, he asked with tears in his eyes, “Is this the Ganga?”
The people of Mauritius preserved the memory of Ganga through Ganga Pond.
Regarding India-Mauritius relations, the CM said that the people of Mauritius have preserved the memory of Ganga through Ganga Pond. Referring to the visit of Mauritius PM to Varanasi, he said, “We had requested him to take a dip in the Sangam. He accepted our request and reached Prayagraj and also took a dip with 450 people.”
