PM Modi Kuwait Visit: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi Was given the Guard of Honor at Bayan Palace on Sunday (22 December 2024), the last day of his visit to Kuwait. Kuwait honored PM Modi with its highest honour, The Order of Mubarak Al Kabir. Bayan Palace is a symbol of power in Kuwait and the embassies of many countries are also located here.
This is the 20th international honor given to PM Modi by any country. This order serves as a symbol of friendship between heads of state. Awarded to foreign sovereigns and members of foreign royal families. Earlier it has been given to foreign leaders like Bill Clinton, Prince Charles and George Bush.
There will be many agreements between the two countries
Many agreements are also going to be signed between the two countries during this PM visit. The Indian government is working towards strengthening relations with the Gulf countries. PM Modi held talks with Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, which focused on providing new impetus to India-Kuwait relations, especially in the areas of trade, investment and energy.

PM Modi addressed the Indian community
PM Modi reached here on Saturday (21 December 2024) on the invitation of Kuwait. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to this Gulf country in the last 43 years. PM Modi addressed an Indian community program on Saturday and also visited an Indian labor camp. India is one of Kuwait’s top trading partners and the Indian community is the largest expatriate community in Kuwait.
