PM Modi kept his promise, met 101 year old former IFS officer in Kuwait

PM Narendra Modi Kuwait Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met 101-year-old former Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Mangal Sen Handa during his two-day visit to Kuwait on Saturday (21 December 2024). He fulfilled the request made on social media by Mangal Handa’s granddaughter Shreya Juneja.

On Friday (20 December 2024), Shreya had written on He is a big fan of yours.”

PM Modi replied to this tweet on X and wrote, Really! I look forward to meeting Mangal Sen Handa ji in Kuwait today.”

How is the family’s reaction?

Speaking to news agency ANI, Mangal Handa’s son Dilip Handa said, “This is an experience of a lifetime. PM Modi said that he has come here especially to meet him. We are grateful to Prime Minister Modi.”
