PKL 2021-22: UP Yoddha and Bengaluru Bulls enter semi-finals with spectacular wins

UP Yoddha and Bengaluru Bulls entered the semi-finals of the Pro Kabaddi League on Monday by winning their Eliminator matches. Pradeep Narwal’s 18 points helped UP Yoddha beat Puneri Paltan 42-31 in the first eliminator while Bengaluru Bulls beat Gujarat Giants 49-29 in the second eliminator.

In the semi-finals, UP Yoddha will face league-toppers Patna Pirates on Wednesday while Bengaluru Bulls will take on Dabang Delhi on the same day. After trailing by eight points in the opening minutes of the first half of the match, UP Yoddha came back strongly to register a win. Narwal was well supported by Nitish Kumar (3 points) and Sumit (5 points). Aslam Inamdar scored Super 10 (10 points) for Puneri Paltan but did not get the necessary support from other players.

At the same time, in the victory of the Bulls in the second match, their star raider Pawan Sehrawat scored 13 points by showing a great game. While Chandran Ranjit got 7 points and Bharat got 6 points and supported them well. Gujarat’s defense did not live up to the expectations in this match and could get only 5 points. HS Rakesh scored the highest 8 marks for Gujarat.
