According to a report in Times of India, Narayan Murthy said in an event organized in Pune that the corporate sector of the country will have to work together especially with the leaders and officers of big departments to ensure that mass migration does not happen. He said that everyone will have to solve this problem together. He admitted that in India people do every work at the last minute. No concrete steps have been taken so far to stop climate change and migration to big cities, but he expressed hope that progress will be made in this direction by the year 2030.
It is becoming difficult to live in these cities
In the program he also mentioned that due to traffic and pollution it is becoming difficult to live in Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad. In the Oxford Economics Global Cities Index report in May, Bengaluru ranked highest compared to other Indian cities. Globally, Mumbai is ranked 427th, Delhi 350th and Bengaluru 411th.
Narayan Murthy talked about work-life-balance
Earlier in November, Narayan Murthy said about the concept of work-life balance that he does not believe in it. He also expressed disappointment over working for 5 days. He had said that he will always remain firm on his concept.
