Patna Pirates defeated UP Yoddha 38-27 in the first semi-final of Pro Kabaddi League season 8 at Sheraton Grand Whitefield in Bengaluru on Wednesday. With this victory, Patna entered the final, then UP Yoddha once again missed out on reaching the final. Now on February 25, Patna Pirates will land on the mat for the title match. Ashu Singh super tackled Guman but continuous failure in raiding had put the warriors far behind. Sachin dismissed UP’s captain Nitesh Kumar and brought him close to all-out, and by dashing Shubham, Sajin Chandrashekhar got UP all out for the third time.
Mohammad Shadlu tackled Pardeep Narwal to complete his 10th high-5. The warriors tried to make a comeback on the strength of defense and brought the gap to 12 points. Pardeep Narwal dismissed Sajin and dismissed Patna. With the help of this all-out, the score became 34-27. But after this, Patna climbed again and took the lead of 10 points by taking three consecutive points.
