Gujarat Polls: In Gujarat, where there is a lot of political activity regarding the assembly elections, a big incident has come to the fore from Porbandar on Saturday. In Porbandar, soldiers of the Indian Reserve Battalion engaged in election work clashed with each other in which one soldier fired from AK-56, in which two soldiers were killed and two others were said to be seriously injured. The incident is of Saturday evening.

After getting the information of the incident, the police have taken the bodies of the deceased soldiers in their custody. At the same time, the injured soldiers have been admitted to the nearby hospital for treatment. One of them was shot in the stomach and the other in the leg.
Jawans were deployed on election duty in Gujarat
Porbandar Collector and District Election Officer AM Sharma confirmed the incident and said that he was not on duty when the altercation took place in the evening, later the altercation and shots were fired from the AK-56 rifle. The jawans deployed for election duty were part of the India Reserve Battalion (IRB) from Manipur and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) deputed to Gujarat.

They were staying inside a cyclone center at Tukda Gosa village, about 25 km from Porbandar, news agency PTI reported.
The police is currently engaged in the investigation of the entire matter. Senior police officers have reached the spot as soon as the matter is known. The officers are also interrogating the comrades of the deceased jawans and the jawans of the other group as to what led to the clash. Let us tell you that in Porbandar district, voting will be held in the first phase on December 1, while in the second phase voting will be held on December 5 and the results will come on December 8.
