UK British-Pakistani Girl Murder: In the case related to the death of British-Pakistani girl Sara Sharif (10), her father Urfan Sharif, stepmother Beinash Batool and her uncle Faisal Malik have been produced in the court on charges of violence and abuse against her. This incident took place on August 18 last year, when the girl was brutally murdered and about 25 bones were broken. The horror of the case came to light in the court through WhatsApp conversations with Batul’s sisters, in which Sara has been accused of continuous physical and mental harassment.
According to prosecutors, Urfan Sharif subjected Sara to cruel punishment over small matters, including making her do repeated sit-ups and beating her brutally. In the WhatsApp messages presented by the prosecution in the court, it was told that Batool had asked Sara to wear make-up and sunglasses to hide her injuries, so that people at school could not see her injuries. It was also told that Sara had deep injury marks on her body and she had become unable to even walk.

Sharif allegedly committed violence against Sara, which left her condition so bad that even her stepmother started worrying about her safety. Police said that before Sara’s death, Urfan Sharif had called the police and confessed that he had beaten Sara very badly, but he did not intend to kill her. After this, all three accused had fled to Pakistan on the charges of Sara’s murder. After this, after returning from Pakistan, he is facing legal proceedings in Britain.

Prosecutors also showed the jury photographs of Sarah from inside the house where she was found dead, as evidence of Sarah’s abuse. Also, stepmother Batul informed her sisters about Sara’s condition several times, but the incidents of violence were not taken seriously by Sharif. Batool had once written that if anything happened to Sara, she would not be able to forgive herself.
