Pakistan Economy: Pakistan Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir on Saturday said the country was passing through a critical phase and urged all stakeholders to join hands to tackle the twin problems of terrorism and economy. Addressing the commissioning parade of 118th Midshipmen and 26th Short Service Commission at the Pakistan Naval Academy in Karachi, he said that there is a need to create a national consensus towards the country’s problems.
In a statement, the army chief said, “Pakistan is passing through its most critical phase and to meet the challenges of economy, terrorism, we need national consensus by all the stakeholders.”
Pakistan’s economic condition is very bad
Saturday was the last day of the year 2022 for the whole world. This year has been the worst year for India’s neighboring country Pakistan in terms of economy and trade. Sectors facing the wrath of economic recession during the year 2022 include textile industry and its allied sectors, agriculture, import material-based industries and automobiles, due to which people in Pakistan are worried about unemployment and not getting new jobs.
