586 visas canceled for Nankana Sahib
Earlier last year, on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, Sikh pilgrims had applied for visas at Nankana Sahib in Pakistan. Pakistan authorities had canceled 586 visas out of 1496 visas of Sikh pilgrims wishing to visit Nankana Sahib. The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee had made 1496 visa applications to visit the Nankana Sahib Gurdwara, out of which only 910 were allowed. The visa validity of 910 pilgrims was only for 10 days only.
