Customers will have to pay an extra charge of Rs 2 only on food items. This is not applicable on Swiggy Instamart. Let us tell you, the company delivers more than 20 lakh orders every day across the country. In the month of Ramzan, the people of Hyderabad had ordered 10 lakh Biryani and 4 lakh plates of Haleem. In the month of March, the company told that it had delivered 33 million idli plates to the people last year.
380 people were fired
Earlier this year, the CEO of the company had fired around 380 employees. The company told the reason behind this was the decrease in revenue. Now this step of the company will definitely help in increasing the profit.
