Siddaramaiah Accused BJP: Once again there are rumors of Operation Lotus in Karnataka. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah made a big allegation on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that an attempt was made to buy 50 Congress MLAs by giving them an offer of Rs 50 crore each. He said that till date BJP has never come to power in the state on its own. Came to power only through Operation Lotus.
CM Siddaramaiah alleged that this time he tried to buy 50 Congress MLAs by giving them an offer of Rs 50 crore each. Where does this money come from? Did Yediyurappa, Bommai, R. Ashok print this money? This is money that has looted the state.
‘BJP is conspiring against Congress’
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah made a sharp attack on the BJP and said, “BJP is conspiring against us by misusing ED, CBI, Income Tax Department and the Governor. First Arvind Kejriwal was targeted and now me and my wife are being targeted.” The Chief Minister made this statement during the inauguration of development projects in T. Narsipur assembly constituency.
‘I will not succumb to the conspiracies of BJP and Central Government’
He said, “I am not the Chief Minister of yesterday or the day after tomorrow, but have been working on this post for 40 years. False cases are being registered against me. Are the people of the state fools? The blessings of the public are with me and I will not bow down to the conspiracies of the BJP and the Central Government. “BJP had offered Rs 50 crore each to buy Congress MLAs, but our MLAs rejected their greed.” The Chief Minister also said that BJP and JDS are spreading wrong information about the guarantee schemes of the state government.
