Elon Musk News: Nowadays, most of the countries around the world including India are facing the brunt of unemployment. There are crores of people around the world who do not have any job and are looking for a job every day. In the era of social media, people keep trying to find jobs through many social platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed etc. Now Elon Musk has introduced a new job search feature for such people on his social media platform X (old name Twitter). Let us tell you about this new feature.
New feature of X
Elon Musk has made another major update in his microblogging platform X (Twitter). This time they have introduced a job search feature for the users. Now people can also use X to search for jobs like LinkedIn.
This new feature is an extension of the job hiring option introduced last year, where companies could share their job listings. Initially it was launched in beta version, but now it has been made available to all users.
Long list of changes in X
Since Elon Musk acquired X in 2022, many major changes have been made in this platform. They have added features like video calling, long video sharing, editing option, long post and live streaming on X.
All these features make X stand out against big platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Now through the job search feature, Musk has taken steps towards making X an alternative platform for LinkedIn users.
How does the Jobs feature work on X?
This feature of X is mainly designed for those companies which are verified on the platform. It not only gives companies an opportunity to post their job vacancies but also helps job seekers to find jobs as per their requirement.
This feature is based on X-Hiring database. When a company posts job information, it appears in job search results for users. Along with this, an Application Tracking System (ATS) has been added to it, which shares data between companies and candidates and makes the process faster and easier.
Use of job search feature
Users who want to search for jobs can use this feature for free. For this, they just have to go to the Jobs section given on the X app or website and search for their favorite job through keywords. However, companies will have to pay around ₹82,000 (US$1,000) every month to use this feature.
