An undergraduate course is of 120 credits.
In this, 70 percent credits will be of regular course and up to 30 percent weightage can be given to previous experiences. Understand this with an example
A nurse who has done Diploma in Nursing and wants to take admission in B.Sc Nursing in the university, she has to submit her diploma, details of the course and a letter from the employer giving detailed information about her work and experiences. Its diploma curriculum will be matched with the B.Sc Nursing course.
The evaluation center will conduct written examination and practical evaluation. After evaluation it will be decided how much credit he can get. Whatever credits the nurse gets will be deducted from the B.Sc Nursing course. This will also reduce the duration of the course.
