After Huawei, Nothing can also bring its own mobile operating system.

Nothing said during a recently organized event that the company is exploring the possibilities of its own mobile operating system. Work is being done on how Nothing OS will look like. The company is considering ending its dependence on Google’s mobile operating system Android. Carl Pei said in this event that more than 80 percent of the world’s smartphones work on Android operating system, due to which the monopoly of Google and Alphabet can be seen. Possibilities are being explored as to how we can overcome this.

Due to the monopoly of Google Android, the user interface of smartphones has not changed yet. Carl Pei said that along with hardware, you can make your product effective with software also. We should focus on user experience because operating systems have not changed for the last 40 years. Be it computer or smartphone, these devices hold a lot of our information. We do many types of work on them but we need to improve their experience.

Big changes needed

Apart from this, Nothing is going to integrate advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Nothing OS. AI has made operating system development much easier. We cannot call any OS an AI operating system. AI is just a tool. Before Nothing, Huawei has created HarmonyOS a few years ago, which is completely different from Android. In 2019, Huawei had to exit the US market due to the US-China trade war. Besides, the use of Android operating system has also been banned. Huawei then created its own operating system.
