Not 15 or 20, this percentage of Gujarat’s votes is expected to go to AAP, a blow to both BJP and Congress


ABP C-Voter Gujarat Opinion Poll 2022: Barely a week is left for the first phase of Gujarat elections. In the latest survey, the BJP-Congress may be harmed by the vote share that AAP is getting. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) seems to be getting a vote share in the ABP News C-Voter opinion poll regarding the Gujarat assembly elections, BJP (BJP) and Congress (Congress) may have to suffer due to this.

In the latest opinion poll conducted by C-Voter for ABP News, BJP is likely to get 45.4 per cent vote share this time. BJP may have to bear the loss of 3.7% vote share as compared to the last election. According to the survey, the Congress may get 29.1 per cent vote share, according to which the party may lose 12.4 per cent vote share. As per the opinion poll results, Aam Aadmi Party is getting 20.2 per cent vote share.

In the 2017 Gujarat Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party contested on 29 seats. His deposits were forfeited on all the seats. The number of voters who pressed the NOTA button was more than the number of votes polled by AAP. In the 2017 elections, 5,51,294 voters had pressed the NOTA button in Gujarat. The Aam Aadmi Party contested on 29 seats and got a total of 29,517 votes. In these 29 seats, 75,880 voters had pressed the NOTA button.

Only one seat got more votes than NOTA

In the last Gujarat assembly elections, AAP got more votes than NOTA in only one seat, Katargam. Here ‘AAP’ got 4,135 votes while 1693 votes were cast on NOTA option. In 20 seats, ‘AAP’ got votes in third digits and in 16 seats it got less than 500 votes. AAP got the lowest number of 243 votes in Ankleshwar assembly seat, where 2732 voters opted for NOTA, which was 10 times the number of votes polled by the party.

‘AAP’ expected to be an alternative

Election campaigning is being done on behalf of all the parties, including the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP hopes that people will vote for its chief ministerial candidate Isudan Gadhvi. The party is projecting Gadhvi as a well-wisher of the poor and son of a farmer, while also loudly claiming that the people of Gujarat have no alternative for 27 years, and that alternative could be the Aam Aadmi Party.
