This is madness. We have been asked to leave from here 5 minutes in advance. So I quickly packed all my stuff and I am leaving from here. I will go near the airport and rest. Today is my flight and I hope I can catch it.

Oscar nomination date extended due to fire
Due to the fire, the Oscar nomination voting deadline has been extended by two days. According to Variety’s report, voting for approximately 10,000 Academy members began on January 8, and was scheduled to conclude on January 12. Now this deadline has been extended to January 14. The nominations were scheduled to be announced on January 17, which has been extended to January 19.

According to IANS, about 2000 buildings have been destroyed in this fire and more than one lakh thirty seven thousand people have left their homes. Many Hollywood celebrities like Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal have lost their houses in this fire.
