Maulana Tauqeer Raza On Conversion: Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC) President Maulana Tauqeer Raza has given a big statement amid cases of religious conversion in the country. He told ABP News on Monday (June 12) that our Ulemas have decided that no non-Muslim will be converted to Islam. From Madrassas to Darul Ifta, from where fatwas are issued, this thing has been told to all of them. In matters of love affair or in other matters, if there is a Muslim, girl or boy, then he too will not be allowed to enter Islam.
He said that this has been banned in our place. Until we convert Muslims into true Muslims, we will not convert any non-Muslim into a Muslim. I do not blame the RSS or the Bharatiya Janata Party for the hatred against Muslims. I consider my amaal (action methods) guilty. It is visible to the common Hindu that my actions are not right.
What else did Maulana Tauqeer Raza say?
Tauqeer Raza further said that there are Muslims by many names among Muslims, but their ways are not like Muslims. Muslim is drinking alcohol, gambling. Every dishonesty, usury is haram here, he is eating it. He is doing every work which is forbidden here. Significantly, after the case of conversion of youth through an online gaming app came to the fore, the issue of religious conversion is again in the limelight.
The matter of conversion came to the fore from the gaming app
A person named Shahnawaz Khan is accused of allegedly converting youth through an online gaming app. A court in Thane, Maharashtra has approved the transit remand of Uttar Pradesh Police to take Shahnawaz Khan to Ghaziabad on Monday. According to the police, Shahnawaz Khan and the cleric of a mosque in Ghaziabad were booked under Uttar Pradesh’s Prohibition of Illegal Conversion Act on the basis of a complaint.
