Maharashtra Jharkhand Elections Exit Polls: In the election year of 2024, the last vote was cast on Wednesday (20 November) at 6 pm. Voting was held for 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra in a single phase, while in Jharkhand, voting was held for 38 seats with the first phase of voting for the 81-member assembly. The results of all elections will come on 23 November.
Exit polls indicate that elections took place in April-June Lok Sabha electionsAfter the victory in the Haryana elections held last month, the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies may get an edge in both Maharashtra and Jharkhand.
Maharashtra exit poll
Matrix has estimated Mahayuti to get 150-170 seats and Maha Vikas Aghadi to get 110-130 seats.
P-Mark has given 137-157 seats to Mahayuti and 126-146 seats to MVA. Chanakya has predicted that Mahayuti will get 152-160 seats and MVA will get 130-138 seats.
Poll Diary has indicated that Mahayuti may get 137-157 seats and MVA may get 126-146 seats, People’s Pulse has predicted Mahayuti getting 182 seats and MVA may get 97 seats.
Lokshahi Marathi-Rudra has predicted a tough fight for Mahayuti with 128-142 seats and for MVA with 125-140 seats.
At the same time, Bhaskar Reporters’ poll is different, in which it is estimated that MVA will get 135-150 seats and Mahayuti will get 125-140 seats.
Jharkhand exit poll
According to Matrice exit polls, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance is likely to get 42 to 47 seats, while the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-Congress-Rashtriya Janata Dal ruling alliance (part of the India Bloc) is expected to get around 25 to 30 seats. While others are likely to get one to four seats.
According to the Times Now exit poll, the NDA is expected to get 40 to 44 seats in the state, while the JMM-led alliance is likely to get 30 to 40 seats.
The People’s Pulse exit poll also gives an edge to the NDA, predicting 44-53 seats for the alliance and 25-37 seats for the JMM-led alliance. Other candidates are expected to get five to nine seats.
However, Axis-My India has projected that the JMM-led alliance may win the state with 53 seats out of the total 81 seats.
What does the Poll of Polls say?
According to the poll of polls, in Maharashtra, BJP Plus may get 139 to 156 seats, Congress Plus may get 119 to 136 seats and others may get 11 to 16 seats. At the same time, in Jharkhand, BJP Plus is estimated to get 38 to 43 seats, Congress Plus 34 to 41 and others two to four seats.
