Name of 11 villages of this district changed in MP, Sheikhpura became Avadhpuri and Mohammadpur now Mohanpur.

Madhya Pradesh News: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday (January 12) announced the change of names of 11 villages in Shajapur district. Mohan Yadav made this announcement while addressing a program in Kalapipal tehsil. CM said, Nipania Hisamuddin will be known as Nipania Dev, Dhabla Hussainpur as Dhabla Ram, Mohammadpur Pavadiya as Rampur Pavadiya, Khajuri Allahdad as Khajuri Ram.

Whereas Hajipur will be called Hirapur, Mohammadpur Machhnai will be called Mohanpur, Richhri Moradabad will be called Richhri, Khalilpur (Gram Panchayat Silunda) will be called Rampur, Anchhod will be called Unchavad, Ghatti Mukhtiyarpur will be called Ghatti and Shekhpur Bongi will be called Avadhpuri. During the program, Mohan Yadav transferred Rs 1,553 crore to the accounts of 1.27 crore women beneficiaries under the ‘Ladli Brahmin Yojana’ of the state government.

He also transferred Rs 335 crore to the accounts of 55 lakh beneficiaries of the Social Security Pension Scheme. Apart from this, money was transferred to 26 lakh women beneficiaries under the ‘LPG Cylinder Refill’ scheme. The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works costing Rs 10.11 crore.

What did CM Mohan say?
CM announced to make Kalapeepal tehsil a revenue section and Polaikalan sub market to be made main market. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said, the government is continuously working for the welfare of farmers. Now, with uninterrupted electricity and water available to every field, farmers will be able to harvest crops throughout the year.

The government has decided that farmers will not have to irrigate at night. They will be provided electricity for irrigation for 8 to 10 hours a day. CM also announced that 155 villages of the district will also be connected to the scheme through Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project.
