Mumbai Double Prize Money For Winning SAMT 2024: Mumbai won the title of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024. The final of the tournament was played between Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh. Mumbai had won by 5 wickets in the title match. Now Mumbai will get double the amount for winning the title of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Crores of rupees will rain on the Mumbai team captained by Shreyas Iyer.

Mumbai was given a prize money of Rs 80 lakh by BCCI for winning the title of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. According to Times of India, like BCCI, Mumbai Cricket Association will also give prize money of Rs 80 lakh to the Mumbai team. In this way, Mumbai team will get double the prize money for winning the title of T20 tournament. Now the team will get a total prize money of Rs 1.60 crore instead of Rs 80 lakh.

Let us tell you that Mumbai had also won the Irani Cup title played against Rest of India this year. Irani Cup match is played between Ranji Champion and Rest of India. Mumbai had won the Ranji Trophy title last season, after which they qualified for the Irani Cup.

In the final of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Mumbai won the toss and decided to bowl. Madhya Pradesh, who came to bat first, put 174/8 runs on the board in 20 overs. During this, captain Rajat Patidar played the biggest innings for the team, scoring 81* runs in 40 balls with the help of 6 fours and 6 sixes. Apart from captain Patidar, most of the batsmen appeared to be flops. A total of 5 batsmen of the team could not even cross double figures.

Mumbai then came out to chase the target and won by scoring 180/5 runs in 17.5 overs. Suryakumar Yadav played the biggest innings for the team and scored 48 runs in 35 balls with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes. Apart from this, while batting at number seven, Suryansh Shedge scored 36* runs in 15 balls with the help of 3 fours and 3 sixes.
