MP: Opposition leader arrived to surround the assembly with a tractor, ‘Farmers worried about fertilizers and seeds’

Congress to lay siege to MP Assembly: The Congress leaders who came out to gherao the Madhya Pradesh Assembly have raised the problem of farmers most prominently. To attract the attention of the farmers, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Umang Singhar himself arrived riding on a tractor. Bags of fertilizer and issues related to farmers were seen in the hands of Congress leaders.

After completion of one year of Dr. Mohan Yadav government of Madhya Pradesh, Congress has opened a front against the government by gheraoing the assembly today, raising issues related to the public. Congress had made a strategy for the movement on issues like women, unemployment, farmer problems, crime etc. but when Congress leaders took to the streets, most of the issues raised were related to farmers.

Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, Umang Singhar himself arrived on a tractor to join the movement. During the discussion, he said that there are many problems related to farmers in Madhya Pradesh which the government is not able to solve. In Madhya Pradesh, farmers are facing problems regarding fertilizers and seeds, while unemployment is also at its peak. The Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly has also cornered the government regarding the increasing crimes against women. Congress leaders took to the streets with sacks of fertilizer in their hands.

State President said- I will eat the stick first
State Congress President Jitu Patwari said to boost the morale of the Congress leaders that we have made a strategy to conduct the movement completely peacefully. Despite this, if the police takes up lathi charge, they will be ready to face the lathi charge first. After listening to the speech of the State President, the workers applauded loudly.
