MP Farmer News: Till a fortnight ago, due to non-availability of good prices in the vegetable markets, the farmers were leaving the tomato crop on the roadside and leaving it in the vegetable markets, whereas now the prices of tomatoes are skyrocketing. Due to less arrival of tomatoes and other green vegetables in the wholesale vegetable markets, their prices are increasing. Here the farmers are worried that due to excessive rains, the crops of green vegetables including tomatoes are getting spoiled in the fields.
