Morena shaken by massive blast in MP, 2 women dead, many injured

Morena Blast News: There was a massive explosion in a house in Morena, Madhya Pradesh at 12 o’clock on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. This blast was so dangerous that 3 houses collapsed in it. There is information about 2 houses being damaged. So far, 7 people buried under the debris of houses have been rescued. Of these, two women died due to being buried under debris. Five people have been seriously injured

According to sources, there is a possibility that many more people may still be buried under the debris. Efforts to evacuate the people trapped in the house are underway by the police and district administration agencies. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. After first aid, all the injured have been referred to Gwalior for better treatment.

The names of the women who were pulled out dead from the debris of the house are Pooja and Vidya. At present relief work is going on at the spot. Currently, a woman and a child are likely to be buried under the debris.

SP Morena Sameer Saurabh said that the cause of the blast has not been known yet and according to preliminary investigation, it seems to be a blast caused by gunpowder. This incident took place in Rathore Colony of Kotwali police station area.
