Eid-ul-Fitr Moon Sighting: Curiosity has increased among people about the festival of Eid ul Fitr in India. Meanwhile, the moon was not visible in India on Tuesday (April 9). Eid moon was not sighted in Lucknow on Tuesday (April 9), after which Markji Chand Committee Idgah Lucknow announced that Eid moon was not sighted today.
Muslim religious leader Eidgah Imam Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali announced that Eid will now be celebrated on April 11 due to the moon not being visible today. He said that the moon of Shawwal did not appear on April 9. Eid ul Fitr prayers will be held at Idgah Lucknow on April 11 at 10 am.
Last fast will be on 10th April
It has become clear from the announcement of Markji Chand Committee that the last fast of Ramzan in India will be on 10th April. This time fasting was observed for 30 days in Ramzan. The festival of Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated across the country after the morning prayers on 11th April.
Crowd gathered in the markets of Kashmir
According to the report of IANS, people in Jammu and Kashmir are waiting for the Eid festival after the end of the month of Ramzan on Tuesday evening. On the occasion of Eid the markets are buzzing with buyers. In such a situation, traffic jam is being seen. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr festival, locals have been flocking to the markets for the last two days to buy new clothes, bakery, mutton, poultry, vegetables, toys, crackers for children and even new electronic gadgets.
Shopkeepers and sweet sellers are busy filling their shelves with fresh stock. Apart from bakery shops, poultry and mutton shops are the three busiest selling points in the valley on the eve of Eid. Special market checking squads are trying to ensure that buyers get goods at fair prices and of good quality.
The administration tightened its belt
The administration has ensured that there is adequate storage of cooking gas, petroleum products and essential commodities so that there is no shortage around the Eid festival. Crowds of buyers are also gathering in cities and towns outside the capital Srinagar. Men, women and children have come out to the market to buy goods of their choice for the festival of Eid.
Special arrangements have been made in Srinagar city and other places of the valley for Eid prayers on Wednesday. Traditionally, Muslims offer collective Eid prayers at various Eidgahs and then hug each other and wish them Happy Eid.
