Nasrallah was hiding 60 feet below the ground

According to the Wall Street Journal, the bunker in which these leaders were gathered was 60 feet below the ground in a busy area of ​​South Beirut. According to the report, all the leaders here including Nasrallah were planning action against Israel. This is the first time in the last few years that such a bombing has been carried out in a major center of a city. Israel used about 80 tons of bombs to attack here, due to which this area was completely destroyed.

Nasrallah was killed after months of planning

After the attack, Herzi Halevi, chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), said, “We carried out a precise attack, in which Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed. The attack hit Hezbollah’s underground base located in the center of Beirut. It took place at the headquarters, in which other leaders of the terrorist organization were also involved.” According to the Israeli army, Hezbollah’s stockpile of electronic devices and missiles were also destroyed in this attack. The Israeli army said that it had taken them months to do this planning.

Intelligence agencies played a big role

According to the report of The New York Times, Israeli intelligence agencies have a big role in the planning to kill Nasrallah. In 2006, there was a month-long war between Hezbollah and Israel. After this, the Israeli intelligence agency destroyed Hezbollah’s communications and kept an eye on its commanders, as a result of which Israel finally managed to assassinate Nasrallah.
