Mohammad Yunus trying to improve relations with PAK, in return ISI will enter Bangladesh

Bangladesh-Pakistan Relations : After the fall of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s power in Bangladesh, Pakistan is seeing a path to profit. Pakistan is once again trying to improve its old relations with Bangladesh. This time Pakistan’s focus is mainly on business, culture and sports. But Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI is looking to become active once again in Bangladesh. Which is a matter of serious concern for India.

Mohammad Yunus, chief advisor to the interim government of Bangladesh, met Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during the D-8 summit held in Cairo on Thursday (December 19). During this, both agreed to strengthen relations again through exchanges of trade, culture and sports delegations.

At the same time, Mohammad Yunus and Shahbaz Sharif also discussed the possibility of reactivating SAARC. However, there is not much possibility of this step going forward, because India does not have much interest in this idea.

Initiative to resolve pending issues of 1971

While giving information, Bangladesh’s government news agency Bangladesh Sanghabad Organization (BSS) said that when Sheikh Hasina was in power in Bangladesh, there were sometimes talks about this with the Prime Minister of Pakistan. However, no personal meeting took place regarding this. At the same time, on behalf of Bangladesh, Mohammad Yunus has talked about resolving the pending issues of 1971 with Pakistan forever for the future generations.

What did Pakistan say on the initiative of Mohammad Yunus?,

Mohammad Yunus, a key advisor to the interim government of Bangladesh, urged Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to resolve the 1971 issues. Yunus said, ‘These issues have been coming up again and again. Let’s resolve those issues so we can move forward. To this, Sharif said, ‘The issues have been resolved by the 1974 tripartite agreement between Bangladesh, Pakistan and India, but if any issue is pending, he will be happy to consider it.’

Danger may increase for India in Bangladesh

According to sources, as soon as Sheikh Hasina stepped down from rule, Pakistan has intensified its efforts to improve its relations with Bangladesh. Due to which Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI has also become active. This network can pose a serious threat to the security of India’s North-Eastern states and West Bengal.
