Lok Sabah Election: Lok Sabha Elections Voting for the second phase is to be held on April 26. Before this, BJP President JP Nadda had a special conversation with ABP News. During this, he also expressed his views on the statements of BJP candidates about changing the Constitution. BJP President Nadda said, “We do not want to change the Constitution at all.” Our commitment towards the Constitution is clear. Many times, while giving a speech, he gets excited and crosses the line. As the national president, I want to say that we never had such intention and will never have such intention.
In fact, statements of many BJP Lok Sabha candidates have recently come to light, due to which the opposition is accusing BJP of trying to change the Constitution. On the question related to these allegations, JP Nadda said, absolutely not. PM Modi also made it clear that Baba Saheb cannot change the Constitution even if he wants to. I have personally spoken to these candidates. Many times the line is crossed in enthusiasm while giving a speech. But we have never had such intention, nor will we ever have such intention. Many times amendments keep coming, but the basic spirit of the Constitution will always remain the same. We can never even think of changing the Constitution.
Will reservation end with the arrival of BJP?
In response to this question, JP Nadda said, absolutely not. There has been propaganda for a long time to mislead people by spreading lies against BJP. There is an attempt to defame BJP. By telling such things, work is being done to portray BJP as anti-Dalit. These divisive forces are pushing such things forward. Through you, I want to assure the public that BJP has always been in favor of reservation. No one has done as much work in favor of Dalits as the Modi government.
What did JP Nadda say on Rahul’s claim of BJP getting 150 seats?
When JP Nadda was asked that Rahul Gandhi was saying that BJP is going to be reduced to 150 seats. In response to this question, the BJP President said, who takes Rahul Gandhi seriously? I have not experienced that Rahul Gandhi ji speaks after thinking. Nor does his past record suggest anything like this. They pass on whatever they were told. Just four-five months ago, Rahul used to say that we are coming to Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. But what happened when the results came?
