The families of Himachali students trapped in Ukraine have expressed their concern towards them and urged the government to expedite the efforts to return the stranded students to the country so that the students trapped in bad conditions return safely at the earliest.
Families of students trapped in difficult circumstances in Ukraine gathered in Shimla today and spoke to journalists and told the situation of the students trapped. Aryan Kimta of Chopal in Shimla district told that his younger brother is trapped in Ukraine while one sister has returned to the country. He told that he is constantly in talks with his brother and is getting information that the condition of the students there is getting worse.

Many students of the state are stuck in difficulties in Ukraine and the situation is getting worse as the days go by. Giving this information, Anirudh Thakur, Student Counselor from Shimla said that with his cooperation many students go abroad for studies and still many students are stuck there. He told that he is in constant touch with the students. He has demanded from the government that at the earliest, efforts should be intensified to bring back the students trapped in bad conditions so that they return safely.
Government is trying to find a safe corridor
Amid the devastation of the war in Ukraine, Russia’s ambassador in Delhi on Wednesday said that his government is trying to find a safe-corridor and has started working on it. Expressing grief over the death of Naveen, an Indian student killed in Kharkiv, the Russian Ambassador has called for an inquiry into the incident. Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov said during a press briefing on the Ukraine war that the attacks by Russian forces are only and only on military bases in Ukraine.
Warning given before attack on Kyiv TV tower
The Russian military is not targeting residential areas or residents of Ukraine. He claimed that the attack on the TV tower of Ukraine’s capital Kyiv was only on a residential area.
