1341 prisoners to be sentenced to death

Under the amendments passed on Monday, alternatives to the death penalty include flogging and imprisonment for between 30 and 40 years. Please tell that there are 1341 prisoners who have been sentenced to death in Malaysia. According to the new law, their sentence will be reviewed within 90 days. The life sentence, which is 30 years as per Malaysian law, will remain intact.
