New Delhi: Actor Mahie Gill, who has kept a low profile regarding her marital status, is secretly married, as per a Hindustan Times report. Gill is married to the businessman-actor Ravi Kesar. The two shared screen space in the forgettable digital series ‘Fixerr’ from 2019.
Apparently, Mahie Gill has relocated to Goa, where she resides with her husband and daughter, Veronica. Gill, 6. It has been more than ten years since Kesar and Gill started dating. When the two got married is uncertain. “I’m married to him,” claimed the actress when the HT team contacted her, confirming the reports. Due to her busy schedule, she was unable to speak at length.
The ‘Dev D’ actress has maintained a very guarded private life. Gill shocked everyone in 2019 when she revealed that she had a daughter who was two-and-a-half-years-old. “There are personal reasons as to why I didn’t post Veronica’s picture on social media. I’m a very private and shy person and there are a lot of things that have happened in my life which have never come out in public,” she said back then.
In an interview with a Hindi daily, Gill was also asked about marriage, to which she said, “Why do I need to get married? I am happy like this (single) and I think one can stay happily unmarried. One can have a family and kids even without a marriage. I don’t think we need marriage for kids and a family. Marriage is a beautiful thing but whether or not to go for it is a personal choice.”
