The three-day special session of the Legislative Assembly started today (7 December) in Maharashtra. A special session has been organized for the swearing in of new MLAs and the election of the Speaker, but the MLAs of the opposition Mahavikas Aghadi have decided not to take the oath today. Shiv Sena-UBT MLA Aditya Thackeray gave this information to the media. Speaking to the media on Saturday, Aditya Thackeray said, “Today we have decided that our (Shiv Sena UBT) winning MLAs will not take oath. If it was a public mandate, people would have been happy and celebrated, but this victory will not be taken anywhere. “People did not celebrate. We have doubts about EVMs.” NCP-SP leader Jitendra Awhad and Congress leader Nana Patole were also present while addressing the media.
