According to this decision of the government, if the children studying in 5th and 8th class fail, then they will be given a chance to pass. But if he is not able to pass in the second chance also, then the school will have the right to stop the child in the same class, that is, there will be no relaxation in case of failure. This information has been given by the school education department of the state.
The School Education Department had issued a notification regarding this decision on Friday. This notification comes against the backdrop of the Central Government amending the ‘Right to Education Act’ (RTI 2009), which states that all children up to class 8 will be compulsorily passed, ie those who fail, They too will be passed. However, this will not happen from now on.

It is directly stated in the notification that annual examinations will be conducted at the end of 5th and 8th class. If a child fails in this exam, then he will be given a second chance to pass. After two months, the exam will be conducted again. If the child has missed the second chance also i.e. if he could not pass the exam for the second time also, then he will have to study again in the same class. The notification also states that no child shall be withdrawn from the school until the elementary education is completed.
This rule applies in all schools
Maharashtra government has now implemented this rule in all schools of the state, such as government schools, private schools and government-aided schools. From now on, this rule will be compulsorily applicable in all these schools.
