Maharashtra budget session will start from March 3, budget of Karnataka will come on March 4

Budget 2022-23: The budget session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly will be held in Mumbai from March 3 to 25. The annual budget of the state will be presented on March 11. An official has given this information. The official said that there was talk of organizing the first budget session in Nagpur. But there the MLA Hostel is being used as a Kovid center. In such a situation, it has been decided to organize the budget session in Mumbai.

Usually the winter session of the state assembly is held in Nagpur. But this could not happen in 2021, as Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had undergone ‘surgery’ and was not fit to travel. Last year the budget session was held in Mumbai itself. Now with the budget session also being held in Mumbai, in 2021-22, all three sessions of the state assembly will be held in Mumbai itself.

Karnataka budget on March 4
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will present the state’s budget for the fiscal year 2022-23 on March 4. Bommai also holds the charge of the Finance Ministry. This will be Bommai’s first budget. According to the Assembly Secretariat, the budget session will run from March 4 to March 30.

The stand-off in the joint session of the state assembly continued for the fifth consecutive day on Tuesday. Congress MLAs are demanding the resignation of state minister KS Eshwarappa over his statement on the national flag. The session, which started on February 14, was to continue till February 25 but has been postponed till March 4.
