Maharashtra Politics: Ajit Pawar, who joined the Maharashtra government, spoke his mind. He said that he wants to become the CM of the state. He said that by becoming the CM, he wants to implement his plans for the benefit of the people. With this statement of his, the political temperature has started rising. Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that Devendra Fadnavis and other senior leaders have already said that Eknath Shinde will remain the Chief Minister of the state. They are doing a good job, they don’t need change. Our leader is Eknath Shinde and he is going to be the chief minister.
As a matter of fact, ever since Ajit Pawar has joined the government, there is a frequent discussion about whether Eknath Shinde Will be sidelined. However, BJP has rejected this speculation. This statement of Ajit Pawar has come at a time when Shinde’s Shiv Sena-BJP coalition government has completed one year only last week.

Ajit Pawar said at a meeting convened by himself at Bhujbal Knowledge City in suburban Bandra, “I have taken oath as Deputy Chief Minister five times. This is a record, but the car has stopped here, not moving forward. I feel from the bottom of my heart that I should become the head of the state (Chief Minister). I have some things which I want to implement and for that it is necessary to become the chief (chief minister).”
Ajit Pawar has become the deputy CM of the state in the Shinde government. Senior BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis is also the deputy CM of the state. Along with Ajit Pawar, eight more MLAs took oath on 2 July. The portfolios of the MLAs have not been divided yet. It is believed that now departments will be distributed to everyone in the cabinet expansion.
