Mahakumbh 2025: This time there is a possibility of 35 to 40 crore devotees coming to Mahakumbh. In such a situation, the biggest challenge for the government and administration is to ensure that all the devotees reach their homes completely safely. Indian Railways has the biggest role in this. It is estimated that about two crore devotees will come and go to Prayagraj by railway. In such a situation, the first priority of the Railways is to ensure that the painful story of deaths due to stampede is not repeated. Railways has made detailed preparations for this.

Generally, the biggest priority of Railways is to provide trains to the passengers at the right time so that the passengers reach their destination on time. But considering the large number of passengers at one time in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, the first priority of Railways has become the safety of the passengers. Railways has made a big plan for this and according to this plan, big infrastructure has also been prepared at the railway stations.

What is the preparation of the administration?
Railways has created a control room in collaboration with the administration in which live CCTV footage of the entire Mahakumbh will be available to the Railways, so that the Railway officials will be able to know how many passengers are coming towards the station at a time. Such blue, yellow, green and red holding areas have been created at Prayagraj Junction. In each holding area, space has been kept for about ten thousand passengers to wait. Arrangements for toilets, pine water and essential medicines have been made in every such holding area.

Ten counters each have been made for tickets. Railway employees, who give more than twenty tickets in each holding area, will roam around giving tickets to the passengers through hand held machines. Railways has made arrangements to give one lakh tickets in a day. Railway officials will see that if so many people have gathered in a holding area that a special train can be run for them, then a special train will be run immediately.

For this, the platform number and time will be told to the passengers by giving them tickets in the holding area itself. About 200 railway employees and volunteers will together take these passengers through a dedicated route directly to the platform where the train is standing. This means that these passengers will not be able to wander here and there at the station. This process will be repeated after the holding area is vacated.

Holding areas of different colors have been made so that passengers going in the same direction stay in the holding area of ​​the same color. Which color holding area will have to be used to accommodate the passengers going to which city? It will be written in that holding area. Apart from this, its promotion will also be displayed in the Mahakumbh area.
